Chris has over 30 years in Snow and Ice Management and was one of the first ten people to receive a Certified Snow Professional (CSP) accredidation.

By the mid 1990s Chris had built a solid reputation as a topnotch, cutting edge snow professional. He started receiving requests to speak at trade shows and seminars on Snow and Ice services. Consulting soon followed with major Universities, highway authorities and private contractors. Snow and Ice Solutions, Inc. was born.

In 2004, Chris brought his expertise to the consulting group of Vander Kooi & Associates specializing in Snow and Ice Services and Landscape Maintenance.

In addition to his consulting services, Chris is a frequent lecturer, and serves as the course coordinator for Rutgers’ Snow and Ice Management Program.
