Snow and Ice Solutions’ mission is to ensure all who are involved with the responsibility of managing snow and ice have the knowledge, training and resources to do so in an environmentally responsible manner, and the ability to provide the safest conditions possible in which to live and work while still being cost effective.

Snow and Ice Solutions provides consultation services to contractors, property and facility managers for site evalutation, snow response plans, specifications, contracts and much more. With over 40 years experience, Snow and Ice Solutions serves clients including corporate, commercial, industrial, university and multi-family property owners. Our president, Chris James, has presented talks to contractors, facility and property managers, highway and university management and personnel. Chris has also provided expert written opinions on slip an fall depositions.

Chris was one of the first ten people in North America to obtain Certified Snow Professional (CSP) accreditation from SIMA and is the course coordinator for Rutgers University’s “Snow and Ice Management Program.”

In 2004 Chris joined the nationally recognized consulting group of VanderKooi and Associates as an Assoicate specializing in contracts, estimating, sales management, operations and multiple-overhead recovery, especially in the Snow and Ice Service and Landscape portions of the industry.
